Strawberries Festival

We bought a lot of strawberries at the festival, because they were so cheap and sweet.

Fortunately for my mother in law, her birthday was on the same weekend, so I made her a birthday cake out of strawberries.

Here is the picture which I will publish in my next video.

Last month, me and my family went to The Florida strawberry festival.

Florida is a large grower of strawberries. Once a year, this strawberry festival takes place in a town next to mine.

Although the cold weather spell in Florida killed a lot of strawberries, there were still a lot of strawberries to go around.

As you can see, this strawberry festival has been around for a long time.

Besides strawberries, there were also rides to ride and games to play.

There were plants for sale as well.

For example this Pitcher plant.

Of course the cookbooks using strawberries grabbed my attention.

There were also arts and crafts exhibits like these houses made from plastic and yarn.

My favorite part of the arts and crafts display was the cake competition, I think if no one had been watching, I would have cut them open, to see what they look like inside.

Among the band that plays there, was the south american group that had its own dancer with this great costume.

Of course being a strawberry festival, anything that you could make with strawberries, or had a strawberry theme, was for sale.

I know what you are thinking, these strawberry pies look delicious.

Actually they are candles, that look like pies. They look so real that I had to ask the vendor because I didn't believe it myself.

I was not only hungry from the strawberry festival, but I was also thirsty. Fortunately, strawberries were not the only plants for sale, this great peppermint plant was for sale as well,

Before leaving, I bought these plants, so I didn't have to carry them around.

As soon as we got home, I made some fresh Moroccan peppermint tea, when I closed my eyes for a minute, I was in Morocco.

Camcorder problem resolved

Hi my friends,
As I promised, I would like to give you the latest news about my camcorder.
The 1st photo shows my camera which I asked for your help to download the video from the cassette to my computer.
Well my husband resolved the problem: he broke it, as you see on the photo, it is completely destroyed, it was an accident as he said.
Indeed I do not need to tell you how angry I was, after all the concerns, to ask for help in my two blogs, to go to stores to get information about camcorders, to spend hours in front of my computer, to find a solution for this problem, he (my dear husband), with a single gesture, he has made the road very short.
I was as angry as I could be, then I thought (without saying it to my dear husband), God surely has better camera for me out there somewhere.




He ( my dear husband), to appease my anger, he promised me to buy another one the next day (it doesn't matter the price).
We went to the store, we were lucky to meet Marvin, he works there, he explained to us the difference between some of them, which helped us to choose the right one for me.

Thank you Marvin, thank you my dear friends for your help and for your support, your comments always give me a big pleasure.



Of course I have to take advantage of the opportunity and to buy something
else which I really need.



I am going to test my new camcorder and see if I like it.
Unfortunately husbands are not for sale with guarantee like camcorders lol.

Need help

Hello my friends,
Today I don't have a recipe for you, but I have a request, if somebody can help to resolve my problem, my camera broke and I do not know what to replace it with.
The camera "Cannon" which is in the first picture is the one that I had since I began to make recipes on video, actually I was satisfied with the result, regrettably it broke recently.



As you see in the second photo, the lid which closes on the batteries broke, I tried to thinker with it by putting a little tape on it, but that did not work, I tried to get it repaired at a camera store, they almost charged me the price of a new one.



I don't have a problem with pictures, because I own this camera "Cannon" with which
I am satisfied.



I bought this camcorder "Samsung", I filmed a single recipe with this
"Sheep Tajine with Artichokes", the video was very dark, I could hardly see the film.




I bought another one "Canon" (of course I brought the first one back to the store).



I tried it, I am still not satisfied with the result.



As you can imagine, all these camcorders function with a memory card.

The problem I have, is I want to work with my old video camera " Samsung " and forget all about the rest, but this camera works with a cassette, not with a memory card.
I do not know how to download the video from the cassette to my pc??????
The software from the company website does not work.



Is there anybody out there who can help me with this ?




Here is the type of cassette which I use to make videos.



I would be very grateful if somebody could help me.
Excuse me for this bla bla bla, but I thought that through my blog, I can resolve this problem once and for all.
I have more of recipe to share with you, but because of the quality of the videos, I am cutting back on the number I publish due to the poor quality.
